What is Ulster Bank YourPoints?

Ulster Bank YourPoints is a complimentary loyalty scheme linked to your Ulster Bank Credit Card. Once you have registered for the scheme, you will earn 1 YourPoint for every €1 you spend on purchases on your Ulster Bank Credit Card. Then simply save up your YourPoints and spend them on our range of rewards - travel and shopping vouchers.



How do I collect Ulster Bank YourPoints?

Once registered, you will receive YourPoints on all purchases made with your Ulster Bank Credit Card. Simply use your card for all your everyday spending - from groceries to petrol to entertainment to travel and you will soon see your YourPoints balance adding up.



I don't have an Ulster Bank Credit Card, so how can I join?

To join Ulster Bank YourPoints you will need to apply for an Ulster Bank Credit Card. To apply online click here. Alternatively, you can visit any Ulster Bank branch and ask for an application form. Once you have received your Ulster Bank Credit Card, you will be free to join!



How do I join Ulster Bank YourPoints?

There are two ways that you can join Ulster Bank YourPoints.

  1. Online - To join online click here and register your details on our website.
  2. Telephone - To join by telephone call the Ulster Bank YourPoints Team on 1890 987 999*.

You will need to have your Ulster Bank Credit Card details handy. Once you're registered, we will send you a Welcome Pack.

Yes, but you will need to Activate the online part of your account to be able to log in to the website.



Can I link my multiple Ulster Bank Credit Cards for Ulster Bank YourPoints?

Yes, you can link all of your Ulster Bank Credit Cards so that all YourPoints can be added into one pot. Simply, call us on 1890 987 999 and have all of your card details handy. You will be asked to choose a card that you want to be nominated as your primary account. An up-to-date YourPoints balance will be displayed on your primary card's monthly credit card statement for the spend related to all linked cards.



When will I start collecting Ulster Bank YourPoints?

You will start collecting YourPoints on any purchases made approximately 48 hours after joining. These YourPoints will be credited to your account every month as soon as you receive your credit card statement.



How can I collect Ulster Bank YourPoints more quickly?

To make the most of Ulster Bank YourPoints why not use your Credit Card for all your everyday spending. So, if you use cash or other cards for groceries or petrol - Just use your Ulster Bank Credit Card and make sure you're getting something back for money that you're spending anyway! Bigger luxury items such as clothing, entertainment and travel will help increase your YourPoints balance too. Remember - you still get YourPoints even if you clear your Credit Card every month!



Will I collect Ulster Bank YourPoints for all transactions made on my Ulster Bank Credit Card?

No, you collect YourPoints on purchases only. Other transactions such as Balance Transfers, cash advances, promotional cheques, money transfers, interest, fees, other charges and transactions which are treated as advances or cash advances in accordance with the conditions of use of an account, such as purchase of foreign currency. What happens when I make a refund on my Ulster Bank Credit Card?

When a refund is made, the Ulster Bank YourPoints originally collected for the purchase will be deducted from your balance.



Where can I get an up-to-date balance of my Ulster Bank YourPoints?

Your Ulster Bank YourPoints balance will be displayed on your monthly credit card statement, but you can get a more up-to-date balance by logging in to our website, or by giving us a call on 1890 987 999. From time to time we will write to you and tell you your YourPoints balance.

Ulster Bank YourPoints rewards are available from as low as 1,700 YourPoints, e.g. 1,700 YourPoints can get you a €10 shopping voucher from our range of the nation's favourite retailers.



How many Ulster Bank YourPoints are required to make a travel booking?

Ulster Bank YourPoints takes advantage of the dynamic pricing that all our travel partners use. For example, booking a flight several months in advance of the date of your departure generally means that you will pay less than booking the week before; the same principle applies to Ulster Bank YourPoints. Travel bookings generally start from around 9,000 Ulster Bank YourPoints and up. Your final points total includes all Taxes and Charges too!



I don't have enough Ulster Bank YourPoints to make my reward redemption. Can I use another payment method to make up the difference?

No, only Ulster Bank YourPoints can be used to purchase from our range of travel and shopping vouchers rewards.

Can I pay off or reduce my Ulster Bank Credit Card balance with Ulster Bank YourPoints?

No, you should continue to pay your Ulster Bank Credit Card in the normal way.



Can a family member or friend add their Ulster Bank YourPoints to my account?

No, only Ulster Bank YourPoints earned through purchases on your own Ulster Bank Credit Card can be added to your account. You could consider adding a secondary cardholder onto your Ulster Bank Credit Card, and they will earn you Ulster Bank YourPoints for any purchases they make on your secondary card.
