Manage your credit card

There are many ways to pay your credit card bill. You can find out more information here.

If your card is destroyed you can order a replacement card in Anytime Banking.

If you lose your card or you suspect that it has been stolen please call us immediately on: 1800 245 399.

If you're signed up to Anytime Banking, you can also report your card lost and order a replacement within the Cards section.

If you use Anytime Internet Banking to check your credit card, you can request a PIN reminder online.

1. Log in to Anytime Internet Banking - www.anytimebanking.ulsterbank.ie(opens in a new window).
2. Select 'Cards' from the main menu.
3. From the 'Manage a personal credit card section' select 'Get a PIN reminder'.
4. This will open a form in a new window, enter the last 5 digits from your card.
5. Click 'Submit'.
6. You should get a page confirming that you should receive the reminder within 3-5 working days.

If you don’t have access to Anytime Internet Banking and you have forgotten the PIN for your credit card you can request this via the mobile app or by calling the Credit Card Centre on 0818 210 261. Calls may be recorded.

Credit Card limit increase are only allowed under exceptional circumstances, such as a medical emergency that requires immediate payment. You have the ability to reduce your limit at anytime.

To change your credit card limit you can call the Credit Card Centre on 0818 210 261.

Keep on top of your payments. Your statement will tell you when the minimum payment has to reach your account each month.

Keep track of your credit limit and how much you have available to spend. You can do this any time by registering for Anytime Banking or calling 0818 210 260 (calls may be recorded).

If you've already gone over your credit limit make sure that your minimum payment is enough to bring you back within your credit limit, otherwise you'll need to pay more to avoid another over limit fee.

If you need a higher or lower credit limit we're happy to discuss this with you. A credit scoring system based on your current financial status is used to decide the fairest and most appropriate amount for you. If you think you'll have difficulty covering your credit card borrowings, please let us know immediately and we'll give you all the help we can.

If you pay your full balance, and you paid the full balance shown on the previous month's statement by the payment dates, we will not charge you interest on the purchases on the statement.

In an emergency it can be useful to withdraw cash from a cash machine using your credit card but it may be cheaper to use your debit card. We charge interest from the date the advance is charged to your account (1.5% of the amount of the cash advance, minimum charge €2.54). This is higher than the rate charged for purchases.

Details of the interest you that you may be charged will be listed on your monthly credit card statement.
